Your 6 days safari in Uganda begins with an early departure from Kampala or Entebbe. You will drive north for approximately 3 to 4 hours along the Gulu Highway to reach Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Upon arrival, a ranger will guide you on a walking trek to observe the white rhinos in their natural habitat. This close encounter provides a chance to learn about these magnificent animals. After your rhino tracking experience, you will have lunch before continuing your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, which takes another 3 to 4 hours. Arriving in the late afternoon, you will check into your lodge and relax in anticipation of the adventures that await you.
On the second day of your safari in Uganda, you will start with an early morning game drive in the northern section of Murchison Falls National Park. This is the best time to see wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and various antelope species. On the final day of your safari in Uganda, you will participate in gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a morning briefing, you will enter the dense forest to track one of the habituated gorilla families.
